Investigation on the Comfort Evaluation Index Cpd of Indoor Environments

Based on the factors that influence the indoor comfort situation, a new index Comprehensive Percentage Dissatisfied CPD is proposed, which depends on the thermal factor, noise and indoor air quality. The calculation formulas in CPD are described in this paper and a method called gradation analysis is used to deduce the values of each coefficient in CPD. Finally, the index CPD is used to evaluate the comfort situations of indoor environment of five hotels. The evaluation results are found to be reliable and satisfied.
